This course goes over the essentials of caring for a newborn baby. The class is intended for both parents or any caregivers of an infant to learn essential information. Important topics like what to expect after delivery and in the first few weeks are covered, breastfeeding and feeding basics, diapering basics, infant health and safety and much more.

This class covers what to expect on your delivery day from the time you go into labor until baby is delivered. It covers breathing strategies, tips for laboring at home, when to come to the hospital and what to expect once you get to the hospital as well as medical interventions such as an epidural. It is a good review for someone who has already had a baby or a good class to let new moms know what to expect on their delivery day.

As a part of our commitment to build a healthier community, we are offering FREE diabetes education services and group classes. Classes meet once a week for four weeks and cover a wide-range of diabetes topics, or you might prefer to meet individually with a certified diabetes educator to discuss and problem-solve a specific issue.
