honoring Our Caregivers - art print donation

We would like to thank Emergency Department physician Dr. Graham Tull and his wife Ginger for donating a special art print highlighting nurses and their work during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. They wanted to honor our caregivers for all they have done over the past year and a half.

“We are grateful for what SJRMC does for our community and the sacrifices made by caregivers, especially over this past crazy year,” Ginger said.

This painting was created by the Tull’s sister-in-law Tara Rex, a fine artist who was an ER nurse for many years in New Mexico. It depicts five practicing nurses Tara graduated with whom all have been working during the pandemic. They are seen in their PPE, representing ALL nurses who have dedicated their lives to serving others. The title of the print is something we can’t say enough: “Thank you, Nurses.”

“It is an honor to have my piece hanging in your hospital for all to see. It truly is. It has always been something I’ve wanted for my art. Art is NEEDED in healthcare settings for so many reasons,” Tara shared.

We are grateful every day for the heart and dedication our caregivers bring when serving our patients.
