San Juan Regional Medical Center would like to welcome businesswoman, Sandy Williams, as our new Chairman of the Board. She is the President of Citizens Trust and Investment Corporation and is a Certified Retirement Services Professional. Williams joined the San Juan Regional Medial Center’s Board of Directors in 2008, and has been a resident of San Juan County since 1981.

San Juan Regional Medical Center would also like to welcome Dr. Jack Eberhart as a new Board Member. A graduate of the University of Oregon Medical School in 1965, Eberhart retired in June of 2008. He is also a member of the Board of San Juan Medical Foundation and Board of Directors of San Juan Health Partners.

Michael A. Jakino – Immediate Past Chairman

Former Chairman, Mike Jakino, with the accounting firm, Solga and Jakino PA, assumes the role as Immediate Past Chair, replacing Sara Kaynor, Executive Director of Echo, Inc. Paul Deshayes of Animas Credit Union, moves into the position of 1st Vice Chairman from his previous position as Treasurer; while Jeff Bowman , the City of Farmington’s Director of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs, moves into the role of 2nd Vice Chairman. Bowman replaced James Shaheen, of Henry Production, Inc., who is now Treasurer of the Board. Member of the Board, Joseph Rasor, Superintendent of Bloomfield Schools, replaced Dr. Ronald Calcote as Secretary. Charlene Scott, Christian Moore, Dr. Dwayne Gibbs, Dr. Charles Hoffman, and Richard Menning all retain the same positions they held on last year’s Board. 

 Elections to San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Board of Directors are made annually from San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Corporation, an organization comprised of representatives from non-profit organizations in San Juan County.
