Interpreter Services

Understanding your health is important to heal and to lead a better quality of life. For people who may speak a different language, San Juan Regional Medical Center will make reasonable efforts to accommodate language needs for non-English, limited English speaking patients, or for a patient with a hearing impairment.

Volume-controlled telephones and TDD equipment are available for patients who are hearing-impaired.

Signs at the hospital are also in Braille to assist those who have sight difficulties.

To facilitate your visit, please contact the department with which you are scheduled in advance to arrange for interpreter services.

If on campus press ‘0’ on any SJRMC courtesy phone or notify your nurse for interpreter services.
