MY LABS: Patient Ordered Testing
San Juan Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that low-cost blood screenings are now available to the public all year long. MY LABS: Patient Ordered Testing is a wellness service that allows patients to be in charge of their own health by getting blood tests when they want them.
Nearly 20 tests will be available for patients to order themselves, no appointments needed. They are available at two convenient locations: San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Laboratory at the main hospital, and the Outpatient Diagnostic Center on 30th Street. Most tests range from $7.50 to $20, making them an affordable option.
There are several ways to receive results, including the mail, picking them up in person at the hospital’s Health Information Management Department, or by utilizing the Patient Portal online. Knowing the results of your blood tests could make a big difference when it comes to preventing disease, or catching a problem at an early stage, so patients are encouraged to discuss them with a health care professional.
