San Juan Regional Medical Center to Offer Low-Cost Blood Screens
Farmington, NM (Tuesday, April 19, 2011)—San Juan Regional Medical Center is offering a low-cost blood screening for adults 18 and over at San Juan College (Henderson Fine Arts Building, 9000-series rooms / 4601 College Boulevard, Farmington, NM) on Tuesday, April 26, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Tests available include a comprehensive metabolic panel for $15; a lipid profile for $10; a thyroid profile for $10; and a prostate screening for $10. Cash or checks are the only available methods of payment; no credit cards will be accepted.
Adults who would like to take advantage of the low-cost blood screens are asked to please fast for 12 hours before the test and to drink plenty of water. Test results will be mailed to the person receiving the test within two weeks. All testing will be done by San Juan Regional Medical Center as a public service. No appointment is necessary.
