Tuesday, February 4, 2014 Introducing 2014/2015 Hospital Board of Directors
San Juan Regional Medical Center elected the 2014/2015 Board of Directors at its corporation meeting last month. Changes to the board include the introduction of new and returning members and a new board chair.

Members of the hospital’s corporation—which consists of non-profit organizations in San Juan County—make up its board of directors, and represent the voice of the community. Members of the board work with senior management, and are directly involved with strategic planning for the hospital.

Charlene Scott, board member since 2010 and representative of the Four Corners Human Resources Association, is the newly elected board chair. New board member, Bruce Glade, represents Trinity Lutheran Church. Returning board member, Jim Shaheen, represents First Presbyterian Church.

Much gratitude is extended to Sandy Williams, former chair, Mike Jakino, immediate past chair, and Joe Rasor, treasurer. “Each member’s dedication and service on the board and to the community is appreciated beyond measure,” said President and CEO, Rick Wallace.
