Thursday, February 17, 2022 Masks Still Required at San Juan Regional Medical Center for Your Safety

New Mexico has lifted its indoor mask mandate for most settings, effective immediately; however, the mask mandate remains in effect for congregate settings, including hospitals. Safety is our number one priority and COVID-19 is still a threat to public health.

To protect our vulnerable patient populations and each other from COVID-19, San Juan Regional Medical Center and our San Juan Health Partners clinics will continue to require masks for everyone who enters our facilities. This includes the main hospital, Medical Office Building on S. Schwartz, our various San Juan Health Partners clinics and the Outpatient Diagnostic Center on 30th Street.

“There are currently dozens of patients in our hospital battling COVID-19. Wearing masks is one thing we can all do to protect those patients and slow the spread of COVID-19, serious illness and even death,” said Dr. Brad Greenberg, Medical Director of Emergency Preparedness at San Juan Regional Medical Center.

We also highly encourage everyone eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine, and if they have already been vaccinated, get a booster. You can find and schedule vaccine appointments at https://goodtimes.vaccinenm.org/stay-ahead-nm/
