San Juan Regional Medical Center Opens Newly Renovated Intensive Care Unit
San Juan Regional Medical Center announces the opening of their fully remodeled and updated Intensive Care Unit (ICU). All 14 new rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including physiologic patient monitors, continuous EEG monitoring, and boom technology in every room that allows for greater equipment maneuverability.
The nurses’ station has also been completely redesigned for optimal access to patients as well as necessary equipment and supplies. Monitors have also been installed throughout the nurses’ station—even in the nurses’ break room—to allow for patient monitoring at all times. The complete renovation also added one additional room—for a total of 14 rooms—one of which is specifically designated for pediatric intensive care.
San Juan Regional Medical Center’s ICU renovation is now complete and prepared for patients. We are pleased to provide these technology improvements which ultimately improve patient care and offer personalized healthcare to our community.
