San Juan Health Partners Clinics to Offer Video Visits

San Juan Health Partners, a division of San Juan Regional Medical Center, is expanding its services remotely in compliance with the state of New Mexico’s recent public health order during the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to meet the essential healthcare needs of our community, our clinics will now be offering telephone and video visits with our providers.
This alternative method to in-person care helps to ensure that our patients are able to stay at home and practice social distancing, while continuing to receive the healthcare services they need. This method of care helps our patients to avoid unnecessary Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department visits, freeing up critical resources to assist patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. By caring for patients who need medical services remotely, we are able to do our part to stop the spread of illness and help flatten the curve. Our goal is to ensure we are caring for people at home via video and telephone visits so they can get better and don’t end up in the hospital.
If you are in need of medical care with one of our clinics, please call the clinic’s main phone number to schedule your appointment as you would normally. A customer service representative will call you to check you in for your virtual visit. At that time, you will be asked if you will be using a smartphone or a computer/tablet with a camera for your visit. You will then receive a text message (for smartphone users) or an email (for computer/tablet users) with a link to click to access the virtual waiting room. The provider will then join the call and visit with you to address your healthcare needs.
Thank you for your understanding during this time as we work to address our community’s essential healthcare needs, while balancing the need to keep people at home and keep them safe.
