- Patients cannot self-refer due to treatment criteria.
San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Monoclonal Antibody Therapy clinic is held in our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Gym in the main hospital Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Monoclonal antibodies may block the virus that causes COVID-19 from attaching to human cells, making it more difficult for the virus to reproduce and cause harm. Monoclonal antibodies may also neutralize a virus and can help reduce COVID-19 hospitalizations and death. Intravenous treatments vary, and may be given once or administered over the course of several days, depending on the medication.
