San Juan Regional Medical Center Grows Service Line Offerings with Addition of Obstetrics and Gynecology Practices
San Juan Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce it is expanding its women’s health services after acquiring Northwest New Mexico Women’s Health Specialists and Southwest Obstetrics and Gynecology. The move brings five OB/GYN physicians with decades of combined experience together with one goal in mind: to provide the best care possible for women in the Four Corners.
Northwest New Mexico Women’s Health Specialists will remain at its current location, 610 West Pinon Street in Farmington, and will go by San Juan Health Partners Obstetrics and Gynecology (610). Dr. Daniel Chang, Dr. Kristean Thorpe, Dr. Joseph Szekely and Dr. Johanna Byrd will continue in their roles providing the most up-to-date professional medical services to women of all ages.
Southwest Obstetrics and Gynecology will also remain at its current location, 634 West Pinon Street in Farmington, and will go by San Juan Health Partners Obstetrics and Gynecology (634). Dr. Mark Fisher and his team are committed to providing compassionate and state-of-the-art services to the women of the Four Corners.

We want our patients to get the quality OB/GYN care they need without having to leave their community.”
Because the names of both clinics are the same, and their addresses are also very similar, we are asking our patients to please pay close attention to which location they’ll be visiting by verifying either the 610 West Pinon clinic or the 634 West Pinon clinic.
San Juan Health Partners Obstetrics and Gynecology 610 (Drs. Chang, Thorpe, Szekely and Byrd) can be reached at 505-609-2070. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
San Juan Health Partners Obstetrics and Gynecology 634 (Dr. Fisher) can be reached at 505-609-2016. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed during lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Fridays it’s open from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
