San Juan Regional Medical Center would like to thank our community for their generous donations of over $65,000 to San Juan Medical Foundation’s COVID-19 relief fund. These donations will be used to purchase necessary items to help us care for our COVID-19 patients, as well as protect our caregivers. This includes special ventilators to help us to treat patients with breathing problems, one of the effects of COVID-19, along with reusable isolation gowns for staff to protect them while caring for COVID patients, and temporal thermometers for daily temperature checks to reduce facility exposure rates and protect employees.
“We share a Sacred Trust with the members of our community to provide world class health services for our family, friends and neighbors. The wonderful generosity, kindness and mercy demonstrated in these donations furthers our ongoing mission to provide personalized care. These funds were utilized to care for our community members, and keep our staff safe. We are grateful, thank you,” said John Mayer, Chief Financial Officer at San Juan Regional Medical Center.
“The support that we have received from the Four Corners community has been wonderful and tremendously helpful,” said Ginger Palmer, Interim Executive Director and Donor Development Director for San Juan Medical Foundation. “We are blessed to live in a caring and giving community.”
The need for COVID-19 support will continue even after the virus is no longer a pandemic. We are asking for continued support raising funds for personal protective equipment (PPE), supplies and resources for our healthcare workers. You can show your support by making a donation to San Juan Medical Foundation here: https://www.sanjuanmedicalfoundation.com/donate.
