San Juan Regional Medical Center Unveils New Online System to Schedule Patient Visits
San Juan Regional Medical Center is making it easier and more convenient to schedule a visit to see your loved one in the hospital. We now have an online scheduling system for our visitors to use before coming to the hospital.
To facilitate our patients’ healing, we allow limited visitation for both non-respiratory and respiratory (COVID positive) patients. One healthy support person is allowed per day during visiting hours, which run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, all visits with COVID positive patients must be scheduled in advance and are limited to one hour to assure safety of the staff and support person.
You can also call our Patient Experience team at 505.609.6949 to schedule a visit.
Here are a couple other important things to remember about our visitation policy:
- All support persons must be aged 18 or older
- The support person will be required to pass a health screening, wear a mask at all times, (no valves, gators or bandanas) and practice proper hand hygiene
- Visitors of COVID patients will receive education and training on wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes a gown and a special type of mask, to protect them during their visit, and will be escorted to patient rooms.
- Support persons are asked to remain in the patient’s room, except for bathroom and meal breaks. If they leave the hospital, they will be subject to rescreening upon re-entry.
We look forward to scheduling patient visits via this new online system. It will help the scheduling process run smoothly and efficiently as we work to serve the needs of our patients and visitors.
