San Juan Regional Health

San Juan Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce updates to our visitation policy aimed at helping our patients heal with the supportive presence of their loved ones. 

All patients, regardless of their COVID/non-COVID status, are now allowed two visitors at a time, as well as a third spiritual care individual. We will no longer be requiring that visitors for COVID patients schedule their visits in advance. If a visitor leaves, another visitor may come and take their place. This is an update from our previous COVID visitation policy that only allowed one visitor per day.  

 General visitation guidelines are as follows:

• Visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
• All visitors must be 14 or older, with exceptions for special circumstances.
• All visitors must check in at the main hospital entrance where they will undergo a self-screening.
• Anyone with any flu-like illness will not be allowed, no exceptions.  
• Everyone is required to practice proper hand hygiene and wear a face mask at all times.
• Patients are allowed one overnight visitor 

Patients in our Emergency Department, ICU and PCU will also follow this new visitation policy. Patients visiting our San Juan Health Partners clinics and San Juan Regional Medical Center’s outpatient and ancillary services can bring one support person with them to their appointment. While masks ARE required in the main hospital, they are not required in our outpatient settings/clinics.
