San Juan Regional Medical Center and Farmington Area Single Track to Host Community Youth Bicycle Rodeo
San Juan Regional Medical Center invites you to join us and our partners at Farmington Area Single Track for a Community Youth Bicycle Rodeo. It will be held Saturday, April 5 at the Community Health and Safety Fair at Sycamore Park Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The bicycle rodeo will offer youth ages 18 and under:
- Hands-on safety education sessions led by certified coaches
- Helmet fitting and distribution
- Skills and safety demonstrations
- Educational material about bike safety
- Interactive obstacle course simulating real-road situations
- Safe biking practices to prevent brain injuries
- Bike clinic teaching basic bike maintenance
Farmington Area Single Track and Native Adaptive are partnering to ensure accommodation for people with disabilities.
