Celebration on Friday, August 5 Concludes Hospital’s Eight-Acre North Campus Building Project
Farmington, NM (August 3, 2011) – In 2006, San Juan Regional Medical Center tore down the first of nine vacant buildings on a Schwartz Avenue plot of land to make room for an eight-acre, 360,000-square-foot north campus that today includes the Robert Umbach Cancer Center, San Juan Oncology Associates, and a medical office building housing four San Juan Health Partners clinics.
On Friday, August 5, beginning at 4:00 p.m., the hospital will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening for the second phase of the San Juan Health Partners medical office building, welcoming San Juan Health Partners Pediatrics and Neurosciences to their new home. The celebration also marks the completion of the hospital’s north campus project begun five years ago in 2006.
Rick Wallace, president and CEO of San Juan Regional Medical Center, physicians, and pediatrics patients will be joined by the Farmington Red Coats to officially cut the ribbon and mark the opening of the second phase of the medical office building. The public will then be invited to tour the facility and enjoy music, entertainment, and refreshments.
