When Fritz and Bernice Kotlarz moved from Chicago to rural southwest Colorado, they wanted to make sure all of Fritz’s medical needs would be met. They found the care they needed right here at San Juan Regional Medical Center.
“I crashed my motorcycle in a construction zone. I broke eight ribs, lacerated my liver and collapsed my lung. I have lung problems and I'm having other complications now, not just from the accident, that need to be taken care of. I'm able to do that at San Juan Regional Medical Center,” Fritz said. “We don't have a problem driving to Farmington to see a doctor. We're seeing good doctors, better care. San Juan had all the specialists we need.”
“I'm a nurse for 43 years. I have confidence in these doctors. I got peace of mind because I know that we have access to good doctors,” Bernice said.
“By going to San Juan Regional Medical Center, all my problems are being taken care of, and all my complications are being met,” Fritz said. “You can't beat it. Everybody is just so nice. Everybody knows what they're doing. They take care of you.”
