This class covers what to expect for both mom and baby during the postpartum period which extends into the first year after the birth of the baby. Topics include postpartum healing, what to expect from your newborn and serious complications like postpartum depression as well as important ways to take care of self during the first year with a newborn.
This class covers what to expect on your delivery day from the time you go into labor until baby is delivered. It covers breathing strategies, tips for laboring at home, when to come to the hospital and what to expect once you get to the hospital as well as medical interventions such as an epidural. It is a good review for someone who has already had a baby or a good class to let new moms know what to expect on their delivery day.
This class is meant for grandparents of all ages and stages to take and see what has changed since they raised their children. Topics to be addressed will include newborn care refreshers, car seat updates, safe sleep practices, supporting breastfeeding, ways to offer support to your children and lots more. It is also an ideal opportunity to ask questions and relieve any concerns you have.
