Midwifery Services Available at San Juan Health Partners Family Medicine in Aztec
San Juan Health Partners Family Medicine has expanded its services to meet the individual needs of the community. Midwifery services are offered at the Aztec clinic, which is a division of San Juan Regional Medical Center.
Our Certified Nurse-Midwives offer convenient, compassionate care for women through all stages of life: from puberty to pregnancy, postpartum to menopause. Our services include prenatal visits and education, postnatal care and well-woman exams. Our midwives take the time to listen to and get to know each patient and personalize a plan of care tailored to meet their needs. This can vary from monitoring individual health and wellness needs to delivering babies at San Juan Regional Medical Center.
Midwives are registered nurses with advanced education in midwifery. They are licensed to write prescriptions. They combine the ancient art of safely guiding women through pregnancy and birth with the technology and science of modern obstetrics, giving their patients the best of both worlds.
To schedule your midwifery appointment, call San Juan Health Partners Family Medicine at 505.334.3404. In addition to midwifery and family practice care, the clinic, located at 120 Llano Street in Aztec, offers cardiology and behavioral health services, as well as an eHealth program for students at Aztec Municipal Schools.
