“Jeff brings a wealth of experience in the growing and ever-changing world of healthcare,” said Janel Ryan, the hospital’s board chair. “We know that his knowledge and leadership will serve San Juan Regional Medical Center and the community well.”
Jeff received his M.S. in Health Care Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He worked for Hill Country Memorial Health System in Fredericksburg, Texas from 1991 to 2007. He was Chief Operating Officer until 1998 and then was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. He is looking forward to helping take San Juan Regional Medical Center to the next level. Jeff plans on being very visible much of his first 100 days on the job, meeting with community leaders and key stakeholders.
“I look forward to working together with the community,” Bourgeois said. “I want to be sure that San Juan Regional Medical Center is doing all that it can for the betterment of our patients and our community.”
