Pediatric Appointments with Nurse Practitioner Katie McCrea: Trust in the expertise of Nurse Practitioner Katie McCrea for compassionate and comprehensive pediatric care. From routine check-ups to addressing childhood illnesses.
Hemorrhoid Banding Clinic with Dr. Shermann Singleton: Dr. Singleton specializes in providing advanced treatment options for hemorrhoids, including banding procedures aimed at relieving discomfort and promoting healing.

Meet our Team
Tara Smith, CNP
Ms. Smith is a graduate of Aztec High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces in 2008. She came back to San Juan County and worked as a nurse in the ICU at San Juan Regional Medical Center from 2009-2014. While still working full time, Ms. Smith went back to school and recently received a Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri.
Rebekah French, DNP, FNP-C
Ms. French earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northern Arizona University and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Graceland University's School of Nursing in Independence, Missouri. Ms. French is from Aztec and has been practicing nursing at San Juan Regional Medical Center since 2009. She loves being able to treat patients in her hometown at San Juan Health Partners Family Medicine.
LaBerta Dempsey, FNP
Ms. Dempsey has worked as a nurse in San Juan Regional Medical Center’s ICU since 2005. She holds an Associate degree in Nursing from San Juan College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She is fluent in Navajo.
Autumn Valdez, BSN, RN
Nurse Navigator
Autumn is from Bloomfield and has been a registered nurse for 15 years. She received her associates degree in nursing from San Juan College and her bachelor's from Eastern New Mexico University. She has spent her entire nursing career as a caregiver at San Juan Regional Medical Center, working on the Surgical Unit for two years, the OR for 11, and now proudly serving as the Nurse Navigator at San Juan Health Partners Family Medicine in Aztec.
